The Blue Man Group was the creation of three friends back in the 80s. What started out as a street performance idea has become an international sensation with performances stationed across the world.
The "blue" men are covered in greasepaint and wear a bald cap to achieve their earless, colorful appearance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for the performers to get into full costume for each performance.
Shows include a variety of elements, including science, technology and information overload. With using the faintest of expression, the performers expertly convey what they're thinking through exaggerated body language.
Paint is incorporated into the show and is splattered on paper that can be purchased by the audience after each performance.
