Fremont Street Experience Las Vegas

The Fremont Street Experience is like nothing else in Las Vegas. An arched canopy of screens covers Fremont Street (which in this area is now a pedestrian walkway closed to traffic) for several blocks. There are several different displays and shows over Fremont Street, so be sure to see them all. They always change too so the next time you visit Las Vegas there should be new experiences to see.

The canopy hovers over the street 90 feet above its visitors below. The Fremont Street Experience stretches 1,500 feet in length. This incredible display projects video synchronized to music over five full blocks of Fremont Street. The result is dazzling and truly a unique experience of Las Vegas. During the shows, the casino lights adjoining the Fremont St Experience are dimmed so that the visual display above is all the more vibrant.

The Fremont Street Experience uses Viva Vision, which is a state of the art video display. This technology is signature to the Fremont Street Experience and the $17 million dollar price tag was worth it to stem the revitalization of Downtown Las Vegas. To go along with the high tech LED screen, The Fremont Experience also has a concert level sound system that amplifies the accompanying music of the show.

Speaking of concerts, there are often free live shows by great bands at the Fremont Street Experience as well. The Fremont Experience is one of the best attractions of Las Vegas and the fact that it's free to all makes it that much more sweet.
