Ichiza is a tapas-style Japanese restaurant located off the main Strip.

"This place serves the BEST Japanese food I have ever had. Ever! And I have lived in both Vancouver and San Francisco. Best ever! We actually came back here for a second night after our first dinner. I only regret not ordering the Honey Toast, because I was too full to pack anything else down. There is no wrong choice off this menu. I would suggest forgoing the sushi for the more traditional dishes. These clearly are their specialties."

Summary

Ichiza, a Japanese restaurant located off the main Strip, succeeds in making light, traditional Japanese food that diners keep coming back for.

Guests can choose from the tapas menu and the "regular" menu, but most choose to go with the small plates and share. From beef tongue and gizzards to red snapper carpaccio and oysters, this restaurant excels in the unexpected. Stray away from standbys like beef teriyaki and your taste buds will be rewarded.

For dessert, according to regulars, there is only one right choice: honey toast. Shaped like a box and topped with vanilla ice cream, this dessert is anything but ordinary and a must-see for diners sick of cheesecake and pie. Ichiza will take you on a Japanese culinary adventure, so don't miss out.

I love this SUSHI place!

I had heard great things about this place and had to try it out and I am so glad I did. It is everything and more. Absolutely delicious. The variety was incredible and very creative. The price was even reasonable for the amount of sushi we consumed! The servers were very curteous and attentive. I loved the hustle and bustle and sound of the restaurant too. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys sushi to seek this place out.

Best Sushi I've had in ages!

I have to say this place is one that I would eat at over and over again. We ate here our last night in Vegas, I wish we'd found it sooner. Absolutely delicious, everything! There were 4 of us and not one of us were dissapointed....great prices, great service, not too crowded, and excellent food!

Re: Ichiza

this place was sooo worth the hunt! my children LOVE sushi and are always eager to try a new place. eating sushi in vegas was a perfect and necessary addition to our vacation. we ordered the standard items, rolls and sashimi, but then ordered a few of their more intersting items....shirokara and shishito skewers. it's small and busy and the staff is extremely friendly. the best part was the price...excellent food for a reasonable price.
