| An original or certified copy of one of the following forms of identification are required:
- Passport
- Driver's License
- Birth Certificate plus a secondary form of identification
- Identification Card
- Military Identification Card
- Military Dependant Identification Card
- Certificate of Citizenship
- Permanent Resident Card or Temporary Resident Card
- Certificate of Naturalization

| Requirements |
The following requirements must be met in order to obtain a wedding license to be married in the State of Nevada.
- Those applying must be male and female, 18-years or older, and not nearer of kin than half blood cousins,
second cousins and not having a living wife or husband.
- It's highly suggested for Non U.S. citizens to check with their local officials for special documents that may be required to ensure that
their marriage will be recognized.
- Those that are applying may have to prove their age. Applicants without acceptable identification to prove their age may be refused
a marriage license.
- SSN (Social Security Numbers) are required on the Affidavit of Application for a Marriage License. Know your
social security number because applicants that don't may be refused a marriage license. It is recognized that non U.S.
citizens will not have a SSN (Social Security Number).

Following is more information about obtaining a wedding license:
- No blood test is needed nor is there a waiting period after license is issued.
- In order to have a legal marriage, a ceremony must be performed in the state of Nevada within a
year and by a licensed person.
- Those who are applying and are divorced need to know the exact month/day/year/city and state of
their divorce. Their divorce must be final and filed with the courts in the state or country granted.
- Applicants who are minor and are not 18 years of age must have consent of a legal guardian or parent.
- License must be paid for in cash. The cost is $55.00.
