Wedding Bells Chapel Las Vegas - Dissapointment!

My husband and I loved the pictures on the internet of "Wedding Bells Chapel" the outdoor gazebo looked fabulous and they mentioned having a chapel, so we thought that this was going to be the perfect place to have our getaway wedding. Looking back I should have realized that there were going to be issues, I booked the wedding on line and then called to confirm, needless to say the guy on the other end asked me all the details again and of course I then was double charged for the wedding, and it took them 2 weeks to refund my money. Once we arrived in Vegas I called "Jim" to let him know that we were in town and to confirm our wedding time, he said yes your wedding is at 8:00 pm, I said no we have a 7:30pm time..oh let me get my book out and look...oh your right I have you down for 7:30pm ??  I then expressed my concern over the chance of rain and I was promised that if it rained they would have everything set up perfect inside.Of course the day of our wedding it rains all day long, we arrive at the Hotel (no chapel) and have to walk through the lobby outside to another part of the hotel and are escorted into a room, that's right a room, not a chapel, not only was this a hotel conference room, but one that was so outdated with flourescent lighting, dirty green carpet and dusty fake green plants. I was devasted, of course we went through with the ceremony, I was marrying the man of my dreams and was not going to let the room get in my way, but both of us were so dissapointed with Wedding Bells Chapel.I expressed to Wedding Bells Chapel that they need to take the word Chapel out of their name, since there is no CHAPEL, and they should really try to make nicer amenities for those poor couples who get rained on!!! I was amazed to look at there website just last week and realized that they never took the word chapel out of there title, and it still says they have a chapel for wedding, my husband and I were married there a year ago in February 2010.I would never recommend this location to any future brides and grooms!!!!!  Stay Away!!Wedding Bells Chapel did refund my money, but the damage was done, my husband and I had to photo shop our wedding pictures just to hide the embarrasing room we were married in.Dissapointed in Ohio
