Elaborate special effects are just one facet of Le Reve Las Vegas at the Wynn Hotel & Casino. A creation of fantasy, intrigue and adventure is what the audience is immersed in. This show features a large cast, 85 performers, most of them from France. The theatre was specially designed by Dragone for this show, an in-the-round design, where no seat is more than 40 feet from the stage. This gives viewers an up close and personal view of the show, and an intimate experience.
Le Reve Vegas has garnered lots of articles in the press and critical praise. "Le Reve" means "The Dream" in French, and the story is based around an "everyman" main character named Wayne and his dreams. Another character is Morpheus, who resembles a warrior. Four angels provide the comic relief, due to thier fallibility and innocence. This show is a huge production, with more than 175 technicians and others that support the performers. It is rumored that this show cost between 30 to 40 million dollars to produce.
