Mandalay Bay Shark Reef

Visit t he Mandalay Bay Shark Reef Aquarium and get an up close picture of the aquatic life in the 1.6 million gallon tank at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. The Shark Reef Aquarium is the third largest of its kind in North America and one of the only ones of its scale in the Las Vegas Desert.

Visitors to the Shark Reef Aquarium get to see all sorts of marine life. The Shark reef is home to a variety of sharks including the Sand tiger Shark, Zebra Shark, Nurse Shark, and Blacktip Reef Shark. With 14 different exhibits the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay has more than just sharks, visitors also can see Green Sea Turtles, Stingrays Crocodiles, a wide variety of fish, a Komodo Dragon and so much more. There are many educational aspects to the Shark Reef, including educational tours for groups up to 30 people.

People of all ages enjoy the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef . You'll find both Children and adult staring in awe at the aquatic animals only a few feet away. The Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay is fully ADA compliant and accessible to wheelchairs making the shark reef available to everyone.

Unlike many of Attractions in Las Vegas, visitors are encouraged to enjoy the Shark Reef Aquarium at their own pace. Generally speaking though plan to be at the Shark Reef for about an hour or so. Lucky guests there at that time get to see the animals eat their meals. While there is not a set schedule of feeding times for the animals, it is usually some time between 10am and 4pm. .

The Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay is open every day from 10 am - 10pm. Times are subject to change as some times the Shark Reef is rented for private events. Please double check before visiting.
