Mystere Las Vegas

Mystere Las Vegas is one of the shows by Cirque De Soleil that has become a staple of the Las Vegas strip. Franco Dragone of Cirque De Soleil created this show, along with "O" and "Le Reve". For eight times, The Las Vegas Review-Journal declared Mystere as the "Best Production Show". It has been said that Mystere redefines circus entertainment. The show has a colorful, circus-like theme, featuring lion tamers, acrobats in outlandish costumes, and clowns. There is also diving and other water activities. The theme of the show is based around the origins of life in the universe.

The idea for Mystere began at Caeasars Palace in 1990. It was moved to Treasure Island Las Vegas three years later. At Treasure Island, Mystere was the first show to have its own theater, and continues to be very successful to this day. Many experts have touted Mystere as the show that paved the way for the other Cirque De Soleil shows that have become well known in Las Vegas.

Mystere at Treasure Island Las Vegas includes hilariously funny comic relief, amazing special effects, and elaborate avant-garde theatre style dance numbers. The story of the show covers the gamut of human experience; birth, death, the meaning of life, fulfillment, passion, joy, sorrow and pain. The performers do everything you'd expect at a Cirque De Soleil show, including bizarre acrobatics, dancing, and elaborate costumes.
