Stratosphere Tower

The Stratosphere Tower towers over the Las Vegas Strip and it can be seen from nearly every spot in Las Vegas. The Stratosphere Tower Las Vegas is actually the tallest building in the western U.S. The tower is connected to the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino below. On the very top of the Stratosphere Tower is an observation deck that offers an indoor and outdoor viewing area. There are three rides at the top of the tower. Below, in the tower's "bulb," is the Stratosphere's restaurant and lounge. The panoramic views of the city of Las Vegas below and the mountains that surround it are breathtaking. It is a spectacular experience in person.

The Romance Lounge is located just above the Top of the World restaurant and serves cocktails nightly.

Stratosphere Tower Thrill Rides

Only at the Stratosphere Tower can one experience the highest rides and there are three to delight visitors. These thrill rides help make the Stratosphere tower a unique Las Vegas experience.

• The Big Shot is a free fall ride that lifts its passengers 160 feet in the air (over 1,000 feet off the ground) and drops them, four thrilling Gs at a time.
• Insanity is a fair ride that hangs over The Strip. The mechanical arm rotates and spins riders in space, over the edge of the tower. What could be scarier? More insane?
• X-Scream is a roller coaster-type ride that nearly drops you over the tower's edge. The views are incredible from this ride... as is the height!
