  • Calico Hills - Begin the tour with a stop at the beautiful Calico Hills. The colorful sandstone formations are popular with local climbers as a moderately challenging climb in the Nevada desert.
  • Willow Springs - See Indian roasting pits and the beautiful rivers at Willow Springs as the tour continues through the canyon. Make sure your battery is charged, as you'll want to take home plenty of pictures!
  • Spring Mountain State Park - The tour ends with a visit to this historic park, once owned by eccentric millionaire Howard Hughes. This park is 520 acres of springs and trails that attracted Indians and later, mountain settlers to the area.

Red Rock Canyon Tour

We got picked up at our hotel and it was only a short drive.  This is just outside the Strip, but it felt like we were in another world at Red Rock.  The view is spectacular so my husband took a lot of pictures.  Our tour guide was excellent, he shared a lot of interesting informations with us.  Well Done!!!

Red Rock Canyon is Heavenly~

The Red Rock Canyon Tour was on my radar this trip to Vegas.  Hard to believe it was only 17 miles from the hustle and the bustle of the busy Las Vegas Strip.  I have to say that these were the most beautiful red mountain ranges in the world.  Not only were the rock formations amazing but the colorful surroundings and sheer solitude of this place is heavenly!Our tour guide was phenomenal!  He told us all about the Anasazi Indians who inhabited the area years ago, and how it was a sea bed some 600 million years ago and is now a formation of near spiritual delight.  We learned more than we ever imagined from the Red Rock Canyon Tour and recommend it to people of all ages.
