For those looking to get a break from the tables and really aren't that interested in taking in a show, the Aliante Golf Club gives them the perfect opportunity to rear back and just cut loose at the 18 hole championship golf course.
Natural beauty is the key when it comes to describing the course as the first nine holes are decorated with countless pear trees that line the fairway while the final nine holes wander through Mondale Pines and purple locust trees.
While it may seem as though the greens are fairly accessible from the tee box, a closer look will show that the course really does offer some unique challenges. Bunkers and hollows run along the edges of the Bermuada fairway and can cause trouble for any shot that has a little bit of a slice.
Golfers get a taste of how tough the course can be right off the bat. The first hole is a 472-yard par four that is known for the edge of the green that has often spelled doom for those that come with a poor approach. Once you have made it up onto the green, though, you should be in line for a nice putt.
The fourth hole is a par three that measure 155 yards. Three fairly large Panks bunkers and an undulating green are the obstacles that golfers are going to have to overcome if they want to come away from this hole with a good score.
The eleventh hole is one of the longest as it is a 500-yard par five. A gathering of trees and a two tiered pond runs along the left side of the fairway. The right side of the fairway is dominated by an arroyo and a bunker. There is also another bunker laying 50 yards short of the green.
The seventh hole is the last challenge for the weary golfer. The 420-yard par four is highlighted by a dogleg that runs to the left and leads all the way to the green which is flanked by bunkers and water hazards.
No matter if you are just looking for a break from the Strip or you just want to fine tune your skills while on vacation, the Aliante Golf Club is the place to go.
