Now you can get your motor running and head out on the highway without ever leaving the comforts of indoors. Just take a trip down to the Sahara Las Vegas Cyber Speedway.
Just one catch, instead of burning rubber down route 66, you are situated in a NASCAR replica and situated in front of a 20 foot wide screen that wraps around to give you a picturesque view of the electronic landscape as you cruise on by. For those of us that haven't mastered the art of the stick shift that comes with the real NASCAR, you are in luck as these cars with the option of stick or automatic transmission.
The 35,000 square foot attraction is located in the NASCAR Cafe and gives guests the opportunity to match their nerves against seven other competitors, all in the quest of the elusive of the checkered flag.
Drivers are in control of every aspect when it comes to their car and how it operates, they can modify everything tire pressure to transmission torque. Each the customizations are designed to allow the drivers to rip around the course, sometimes reaching speeds as high as 220 mph. The game is so realistic the drivers will feel like they are really in the cockpit of the car as they have to shout out orders to their pit crew as they pull in for a quick tire change while taking in the sounds of a 15 speaker system
Racers can choose from hurtling down the Las Vegas Motor Speedway or burning rubber along the Las Vegas Strip. A display shows each race where they are in regards to placement in the race and final standings are tallied after each race.
