For those that think they can't see a quality magic show if they don't want to pay the high prices for Lance Burton, Penn & Teller or David Copperfield, you may want to check out the Magic of Rick Thomas. Even though Thomas doesn't receive all the publicity of other magic acts that doesn't mean that his talents are second to none. In fact, Thomas has a leg up on his competition as he doesn't have to compete for audiences. Thomas is the only magic act during the day, he has shown that he can bring night time quality shows to the light of the Vegas sun.

What makes the Thomas magic even more remarkable is the fact that he is one of the few shows on the Strip that still incorporates tigers into his act. The difference in Thomas' act is that the tigers aren't just used as props, Thomas takes part in a breeding program for Bengal tigers and has been known to introduce his tigers to his audiences before each show.

As with most magicians, Thomas plays on audience interaction and focuses on the youngest members of his audience. Thomas has made it a ritual to bring children up on stage for acts such as levitation.

By bringing his family friendly act to the daytime hours Thomas has filled a void in the Las Vegas lineup and gives audience the chance to see a high quality magic show pretty much anytime they want.
