Las Vegas is a most amazing place with very much to offer aside the world renowned and now iconic Elvis impersonators, high class hotels and casinos. You can safely say that there is a great deal of things to de and see when visiting the "Sin City".

Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of fun and exciting activities prepared by the local entrepreneurs.
Attractions include nearby organized tours to sites like Lake Mead or the Hoover Dam and of course the Grand Canyon. With so many companies struggling to get ahead through innovation and fine services, you can now take the tours on a vehicle of your choice, from bikes or even hiking, to racecars and helicopter rides.

If you are in Las Vegas and you are a car sports enthusiast or you are just looking for some diversity, you absolutely have to visit the Las Vegas Speedway. Trade in the poker chips for a few hours spent is the smell of gas and burning rubber in one of the hottest and newest racing facilities in the whole country.
The Las Vegas Motor Speedway was an instant popularity success ever since the Las Vegas 500 Indy Racing League had the grand opening in 1996. The setting is a tri-oval speedway that provides a speedway of one and a half miles but also a short track, a dirt track and of course, a drag strip.

The facility is estimated at a staggering two hundred million dollars and is now one of the leading speedways in the industry. This fact is proven by the multitude of NASCAR events that are held here all around the year. Some race teams and drivers consider this complex as being the best one in the US.
The seating in the Las Vegas Speedway had to be expanded from the first opening and can now accommodate more than one hundred thousand spectators at each event.

There are also included facilities for motocross competitions, Go-Kart racing and Sand Drag and almost all motor sports in general.

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway also hosts guided tours of the facilities and is related to a number of driving schools. For the most passionate, there are held amateur classes here so that anyone can learn to make a good lap in a real Indy car.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway track tours are held daily and encompass every one of the speedway's facilities so you don't want to miss the opportunity. Tourists also have the opportunity of taking a track lap and then getting their picture taken at the finish line like a NASCAR race driver.

One of the best parts of the complex is that the fun doesn't stop once the sun goes down. The race fever goes on in grudge drags that are specifically designed to keep car racing off the streets and in a safe and controlled environment.

If you are really a car buff you surely won't want to miss a visit at the race icon Caroll Shelby's museum and maybe meet the racing legend in person. The exhibits reflect his life's work and the passion for the automotive sport.
