For 20 years "Splash" has been entertaining and titillating audiences with its risquè and erotic performances. The show not only pays homage to the history of Vegas, but it also portrays modern day Vegas.
Audience members are taken through a video history tour of Vegas throughout the show as images of celebrities, show headliners and celebrity weddings are all shown on screen. That is when the actual performers take over. Vitaly takes to the sky as he suspends himself in mid-air by red silk. While Vitaly hangs in mid-air, Mikhail Panin and Margarita Barber turn the stage into a winter wonderland as they strap on the skates and pay homage to the "Phantom of the Opera." Phantom isn't the only Broadway musical to take to the ice, Irina Grigorian skates, jumps and twirls to the sounds of "Mamma Mia!"
While "Splash" pays a great deal of attention to the singers and headliners, the show also honors dancers as they perform a variety of routines running from street style performances all the way to exhibitions that you would only see in a strip club. Male dancers perform hip-hop moves while the female dancers perform a variety of stripteases.
The night also includes acts such as jugglers and motorcycle riders that close out the show.
No matter if you are looking for action in the air, on ice or on the stage, "Splash" continues to entertain and amaze audiences.
