No, it's not teaching men the basics of how to behave in a strip club or how to pick up a stripper. Instead Stripper 101 gives women the chance to slim down and unleash their inner goddess with a striptease cardio and pole dancing routine.

Located in the Desert Passage mall at the Aladdin, Stripper 101 dance studios have begun to pop up all over the country and have attracted celebrities such as Carmen Electra, Teri Hatcher and Kelly Ripa. The classes have become so popular that they have been featured on the Oprah show.

Stripper classes are held every Thursday-Saturday from 5- 6 p.m. They are held in the Stripper 101 studio which is located above the V Theatre. Women that are looking to just get a glimpse of what this is all about are more than welcome to buy a ticket and sit in on the class without getting involved.

The class features over 25 moves that are used in actual strip clubs. Students are taught the choreography as well as how to handle props such as chairs, poles and feather boas. Each student will also get the chance to show that they have mastered the Sin City stripper pole. The classes have proven to be so much fun that women probably don't even realize that they are burning 400-500 calories per hour. At the end of each class women are given a certificate which recognizes them as a genuine Las Vegas Stripper of sorts.

Whether you are a local or a tourist in town for a bachelorette weekend, one trip to Stripper 101 will leave you with plenty of memories as well as some new moves to take home.
