Once upon a time Vegas was part of what was known as the Wild West, guests to the Sunset Stampede get a chance to take a look at what the unsettled area may have looked like.

The howl of lone animatronics wolf kicks off the eight minute laser, light and water show. The wolf is quickly joined by other wildlife like bears and eagles. The peaceful image is interrupted by the sounds of a fountain suddenly coming to life and shooting streams of water eight stories high into the sky and dancing with orchestrated music.

The show is even more moving when you take into account the fact that it is held inside Mystic Falls Park, a 25,000 square foot rainforest that is enclosed in an atrium. As is the case with any water show, there is always a chance for those that stand up front to come away wet. In order to stay dry, try standing towards the back near the bar. It's the perfect place to get a perfect view of the show from the middle of the park.

Just because the show ends that doesn't mean that you have to leave. Take some time to take in the awe-inspiring beauty that comes with the lush landscapes, rushing waterfalls and flowing streams. Benches are placed throughout the park for you to sit back and take in all of the natural beauty and wonder.
