While a new Irish pub seems to be hopping up all over Vegas on a daily basis, J.C. Wooloughan's continues to be viewed as one of the most authentic.
Built in Ireland and shipped over piece by piece, this place is truly authentic all the way down to decorations and woodwork. In fact about 20 percent of the employees are from Ireland.
Nothing says Irish pub like a couple of drinks that is why J.C. Wooloughan's has a wide selection of drinks. Take your pick from things such as Blackthorn Cider, Irish coffee , Guinness and Irish whiskey. The true Irish experience doesn't just stop with the interior and drinks, this place has some of the most authentic Irish pub food around. Sit down and try some shepherd pie, boxty, corned beef and cabbage or Irish stew. You can also sample appetizers such as Irish sausage rolls and corned beef roll-ups or top off your meal with deserts such as Irish cream cheesecake or bread pudding.
To complete the full Irish experience, the pub features entertainment on a nightly basis. Soccer games are shown for those die hard sports fans and an Irish band is on hand for most nights. For those that are looking for some good old fashioned family entertainment, you may want to show up on Sunday nights where singing and dancing start at 5 p.m. It's the perfect chance to get out there and cut an Irish jig.
