Re: Rainforest Cafe

Rain Forest Cafe thought of every last detail!  When we walked in the door, we were seated at a table with animals covering it.  All around were vines, trees, monkeys, elephants, birds, butterflies, lions and much, much more!  The atmosphere is fun for all ages.  The food was fantastic. This was our first time at Rain Forest Cafe and we were so happy to learn that there is a restaurant not far from our home.  Our kids are too old but for younger children, this would be the perfect place to throw a birthday party.Do not go expecting a nice, quiet dinner.  They have a mock lightning storm every half hour which is quite an uproar.

Re: Rainforest Cafe

Honestly, don't come here expecting world-class food or highbrow society.  It's for families and it;s fun!  We were seated near the silver-back gorilla that would growl and beat it's chest.  I feel bad for the couple that seated immediately beneath it as I am sure they were annoyed.  the place darkens and turns into a monsoon several times during the meal and a booklet explaining the different animals found in the rainforest make things a bit more educational.  The food is decent if not a bit steep for what it is but just imagine the overhead at a place like that.
