Rainforest Cafe in Las Vegas
Published On: Jan 05, 2007
Rainforest Cafe is a great place to visit while in Las Vegas as it offers entertainment and adventure for the entire family. This exotic place recreates the wonderful atmosphere of the tropical rainforest with beautiful waterfalls, colorful vegetation and even indigenous creatures. The aquarium is definitely the number one attraction that distinguishes this restaurant from all the others.
The food served in the Rainforest Cafe is mostly American style, but you can also enjoy some tropical dishes that you can't find in every road side restaurant. The signature such dishes of the Rain Forest Cafe are the Mayan Seafood Platter, the Mojo Bones and the Sparkling Volcano.
You will definitely be swept away by this inventively themed cafe that will bring you to a different world within seconds. The animation animals that put up a show every 20 minutes and the tropical rain that comes every 45 minutes will impress you, it's guaranteed!
As the adults are in for a great treat as far as the menu is concerned the children will be for sure the ones who are going to be the most delighted by everything around them. While the little ones are playing around and exploring the place you can also explore the menu where you will find all kinds of cleverly named dishes.
The menu abounds in appetizers, pastas, salads, sandwiches and deserts. Here are some top-notch dishes that will certainly satisfy your refined taste: The Rasta Pasta, the Rumble in the Jungle Turkey pizza and the Gorillas in the mist banana cheesecake.
Rainforest Cafe is definitely a place to go for lunch or a snack during the day. It is the perfect place to go with your family as it is especially designed to entertain children and not only. However, if you are looking for a place to offer you other kinds of fun this place is not the place to go.
Rainforest Cafe is perfect for an animated lunch alone or with your family, but it is not offering any night life activities and it's definitely not the place where you can hit on the opposite place, for instance.
At the beginning, Rainforest Cafe was a restaurant that was more concerned with entertainment, without paying too much attention at the quality of the food and the serving. However, today, the place can be compared with some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas the only notable difference being that you won't feel that you paid too much for your food.
Rainforest Cafe is located inside the MGM Grand Hotel, one of the most famous and adored places in Las Vegas. The cafe is open every day from Sunday to Thursday between 8 am and 11 pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 8 am till 12 am.
In case you really don't want to miss this place during your Las Vegas visit, we strongly advise you to make reservations in time as the place can get really crowded. However, if you don't find a place to sit you will be given a pager so that you won't have to wait there.
