The Rao's restaurant is located inside the Caesar Palace hotel and is a very fortunate replica of a one hundred years old East Harlem Italian restaurant that was very popular at the beginning of the last century. The restaurant has been at many occasions applauded for its simplicity, excellence and authenticity.
Some of the most popular things in the restaurant are the jukebox, the decor, the extremely friendly atmosphere and above all the exquisite Neapolitan cuisine. The place also has quite a reputation as being one of the most difficult places in Las Vegas to get a reservation.
Rao's restaurant at Caesar's Palace is Las Vegas is offering you the authentic experience of the original Italian restaurant that was very popular in New York in the 1900's. It is designed with two ten-table rooms that create the atmosphere of a luxurious saloon.
There is additional seating available outside the hotel in the feast area and also on the outdoor patio. Here you can sit at the poolside while enjoying a game of bocce. The tables placed in front of the Caesar Palace are always full as they are a great place for people-watching and enjoying a drink.
The Pellegrino family is the owner of the Las Vegas Rao's restaurant from the Caesar Palace Hotel. Frank Pellegrino is the man that you will meet the first thing after entering the restaurant as he is dispensing pleasant old-school hospitality.
Carla Pellegrino, Frank's wife, is the main chef of the restaurant and she is serving delightful family recipes, such as Uncle's Vincent lemon Chicken, the famous pasta and meatballs and the equally notorious New York Cheesecake.
The scene of the Rao's restaurant is already hosting outposts from the likes of Guy Savoy, Wolfgang Puck and Bobby Flay and there are a lot of excellent chefs who are waiting to be given the chance to show their talent and skills by cooking for Rao's clients.
This means that Rao's is one of the places that you must visit while in Las Vegas as it offers the greatest variety of dishes and cooking styles in the entire city of Las Vegas. Also, this place is appreciated because its menu offers something for any budget you may have.
At Rao's you are definitely going to have a great time as the atmosphere is extremely pleasant and the food is incredibly tasty, no matter if you are ordering a prime-rib dish or some haute cuisine specialty. The new Rao's at Caesars Palace is open every night from 5 to 11 pm offering a multitude of seats placed in the replica decor of ten-table rooms. This is a turn-of-the-century restaurant that creates a cozy atmosphere by means of a simple Italian home-style.
