The New Frontier
3120 Las Vegas Blvd, South
Las Vegas, 89109
Situated near the heart of Las Vegas and next to the Fashion Show Mall lies a Vegas institution, the New Frontier.
Throughout the years the New Frontier has laid claim to hosting some of the biggest names in music history. While that may not seem uncommon in a city like Vegas there is one thing that no other hotel can lay claim to. New Frontier was the place that Elvis Presley got his start as he performed his first Vegas show there in 1956.
While the hotel still pays homage to its gunslinger roots, it still offers the highest quality of modern amenities. Guestrooms are large and airy while the Atrium suites are equipped with high speed wireless Internet access.
The casino is classic Vegas as it is decked out in dark wood with centrally located bars for those that want to quench their thirst. The floor hosts blackjack tables, roulette, craps, Pai Gow and many other table games. The floor is also filled with thousands of slot machines, the only bingo room on the Strip and a $1,000,000 video wall in the race and sports book.
Of course gambling isn't the only thing to do at the New Frontier. Gilley's is the only country western bar around and it comes complete with its own mechanical bull and free line dancing lessons. Once you get finished wit you line dancing you might feel like hunkering down over a nice piece of grub. You can't go wrong at the New Frontier as you have your choice of The Orchard Café, Margarita's Cantina or Phil's Angus Steakhouse.
For those looking to experience the best of modern Vegas and a little bit of rock n 'roll history, the New Frontier is one stop that should be on your list of things to do.
