For those that are obsessed with the image of old time Vegas, the Double Down Saloon is the place for you.

Take one step into this smoke filled dive bar and you will swear that you have been taken back into time. Feel free to take in the scenery as you check out the Goth girls, guys wearing wife beaters, strippers that just got off duty and people that could serve as extras in Deliverance.

Take your time and enjoy a drink at the bar, hustle some pool for extra beer money or hang out by the jukebox while you try to summon up the courage to ask that cute girl for a dance.

One thing is for sure, the Double Down is not a saloon for everyone. If you are looking for a flavored martini then chances are you have come to the wrong place. But if you don't mind dyed hair, body piercings and bartenders that often call you "baby" because they can't remember your name then the Double Down is the place you want to be.

For those that are strong enough to handle the environment, good news could on the horizon as rumors continue to abound that the bar is going to put five bowling lanes on the roof. No matter what you think about the bar, you have to admire any management that is willing to go the extra mile to try and pull something like that off.
