Mama Mia have been the first Broadway musical to make its way to Las Vegas, but without a doubt Phantom of the Opera is the biggest name to hit the Vegas stage yet.
With such a grandiose production, there is only one hotel that could take on the responsibility of being home to the 95 minute smash hit. That is the Venetian's brand new 40 million dollar theater. With the new location comes a new twist. In addition to featuring the same hit songs, this Vegas version offer offers some new special effects that have never been seen before. The move to Vegas just serves as a new chapter for a show that has become the longest running show in the history of Broadway as well as earning more than $3 billion in over 20 countries and 110 cities.
With such a large stage production it only makes sense that one actor or actress can't handle the full time duty of playing the leads. That is why Brent Barrett and Tony Award Winner Anthony Crivello have both agree to do the infamous mask. The duo of Elizabeth Loycano and Sierra Boggess have both signed on to play opposite the Phantom. The rest of the cast is rounded out by Tim Martin (Raoul), Elena Jeanne Batman (Carlotta) and Larry Wayne Morbitt as Piangi.
For those that are seeking a night out and don't want to deal with the overcrowded clubs or same old comedy show, the Phantom of the Opera is welcoming you to enjoy a night of elegance and culture.
