Afraid to take your kids to some of the comedy shows in Vegas because you are afraid of some of the language? Then you may want to consider taking them to see Rita Rudner or Rita Rudner-Rita Rudner as she prefers to call herself during the show.
While other comics relay on the four letter words to get their laughs Rudner prefers to play off her wholesome naivety. While Rudner does offer up her thoughts on shopping, diets, shopping and relationships you can be sure that this isn't a show just for the ladies. She shows that she is able to strike a chord with the guys as well.
Ever sit back in the back of theater and not been able to see and strained your ears as you tried to figure out what the comic was talking about? That isn't a problem here. The theater provides a very intimate feel in that it only holds 425 people. The feeling is so intimate that you would swear that you were relaxing at home and talking with a few good friends instead of sitting inside a packed theater.
Another unique about Rudner's act is the fact that she takes the time to feature a question and answer session where she interacts on a first name basis with the audience and allows them to gain some insight as to where she gets some of her ideas for her act from.
With the show only lasting an hour you have to excuse Rudner for talking so fast. As she likes to say, she has a lot to say.
