For those that are seeking a few thrills and chills while visiting Nevada, they don't have to look much further than the Desperado which sits near the California/Nevada state line.
Known as one of the tallest coasters in the world, the Desperado features a 225 foot drop to go along with a 55 degree drop, all of which come on the coaster's first hill.
From the first rumblings of the click clacking coaster, riders can practically feel the adrenaline rushing through their veins. Once you get to the top of the hill, feel free to check out the natural beauty of the Primm Valley just be sure not to get too comfortable as you are quickly rushed down an incline. With speeds reaching 80 mph, the track seems to be racing by in the blink of an eye and it's not long before you are headed towards the second hill. If it is even possible, the second hill seems even more intense than the first. The second hill features a helix that starts at 155 feet high. The coaster races riders through camelback hills and one last upward spiral before eventually heading back to the loading station.
If you are looking to get your heart racing in places other then the casino floor, the Desperado is one of your best bets. It will not only provide you with a lifetime full of memories, it also won't drain your wallet.
