While things can move pretty fast on the Strip, very few things can move as quickly as the Manhattan Express as it speeds past New York city replicas such as Statue of Liberty, New York Harbor and tugboats and reaching speeds of 67 mph.

With a ride that lasts three minutes and located on the second floor of the video game arcade, the coaster is full of twists and turns and modeled after the ones that are on Coney Island. The main difference is that the New York coasters are made up of wood while the Las Vegas version is made of steel, but made in a way that is looks and feels like those old time wooden coasters.

While some coasters can take awhile before they really get going, the Manhattan Express wastes no time in getting things started. The second drop will take riders down 100 feet at a 50 degree angel. You also want to take into account the fact that the coaster is the first one that features a 180 degree heartline twist. If that isn't enough to get your heart pumping, the ride includes a 540 degree spiral where riders have the chance to see what negative G's really feel like.

With a million riders taking the trip of a lifetime each year, its easy to see why the Manhattan Express continues to be one of the top attractions in Las Vegas.
